Having a hard time choosing whether you work in the office or work at the comfort of your own home? During this pandemic, companies lessen their expenses by reducing their employees resulting to people losing their jobs and some having difficulty in travelling going to their workplace.
And this generation are slowly fading the idea of working at the office because most of them want to find their passion and live a fulfilling life. And by the means of that they like the idea of being free doing what they love like travelling, and spend more their time with friends and family.

1. Place/Environment
At home you can work anywhere and also design what would be your working area look like while at the office there are designated work place and sometimes cannot be design as you want it.
2. Working Hours/Flexibility
At home you can work anytime you want, you have flexible time and manage to do household chores while working. Do plan vacation and spend time with family and friends. At office setup there set of hours of work and do other things in breaks. Sometimes vacation leave is not approved with different circumstances.
3. Dress Code
At home you can work wearing cozy clothes and just wear formal at the upper when in a meeting while at the office there's dress code and have uniform.
4. Communication
At home can be bored without someone to communicate with or exchanging ideas or just a normal conversation between workers while at the office you can interact and immediate feedback with your work.
5. Commute/Travel
Well, we all agree that we hate the travel time experiencing traffic and eats most of our time.
6. Financial/Expenses
At home you need to pay for internet bill and extra for electricity usage. Purchase personal computer/laptop, working desk ,chair and other materials used for works. At the office, materials are all provided but you spend for commute like fare in public transit or gas and buying snacks or lunch.
There are a lot of things to compare on work at home and in an office. Some people are happy working in an office and some are good working from home. You just have to weigh your options and decide what is best for you. Above are just some of the list of advantages and disadvantages. The decision is still up to you.
